A data table (a cache view of the actual data source) can be displayed to the bottom side of a chart. This is not possible to display a data table to the side of pie/doughnut/radar/surface/contour/bubble charts.

The data table object, accessed using the DataTableLegend property of the chart object, can be customized.

Among exposed properties, are :

• common options
• whether the outline should be displayed.
• whether horizontal/vertical borders should be displayed.
• whether legend keys should be displayed.
